Well, another fantastic turn out for the £2500 'Giant Pony' Guarantee! We didn't hit the 198 of the two previous tourney's but considering we were missing lots of football fans watching the Chelsea vs. Barca Game (even though it was shown on 5 HD Tv's in the club) we still hit a whopping 134 runners!!!

The £2500 Guarantee was soon eclipsed and the final prize pool was £3350 with £1106 going to 1st place!!! Not bad for a £25 tourney! The eventual winner was Staggy, a regular club member who deservedly took down the big money with pocket Jacks! A big Western club thank-you to all who joined us for this great tourney and well done to all who cashed!

WOWZERS........The Leap Year GUARANTEE has actually blown me away with its response, The Western Club is known as a late starting club unfortunately and no matter what we do to try and remedy this, we always seem to get late runners....

Well.....The £2900 Guaranteed leap year tourney 29...29...29...29 etc etc was due to start at 8:30pm as per our evening tournaments, I was hugely confident it would be a success due to its awesome value and structure (my own brainchild...) BUT....shock horror.....8:20pm....25 people.....arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Then it happened....

Nope...no phew......now we are OVER subscribed! I find myself carrying table after table....chair after chair trying to get everyone seated as quickly as possible.....i'm sweating....burning calories during a weeks worth of exercise for me crammed in to an hour!
