Dear Members,

Having had a major complaint from the local authority and the gambling commission following the sudden closure of the international club, we here at The Western will no longer be able to guaranteed prize pools larger than £5,000 with immediate effect.

The gaming board and council feel that these large guarantees provide a level of commercial poker beyond which we should be able to provide as a private members club, for this reason and to protect our club for our existing members, our larger tournaments will now have Estimated prize pools and will not be guaranteed.

We have always strived to comply and work in partnership with our local authority and gaming board and we will continue to do so in the future.

We hope this does not deter anyone from using our fantastic establishment, we will continue to provide excellent guarantees under £5,000 and will continue to provide a fantastic club experiance for our valued community.

What a fantastic few weeks here at The Western Club! We have seen the return of an absolute classic! The Tuesday 8:30pm £100 Classic is back!!! Now with a £5,000 Guarantee!!! Since it's return we have had 63 Runners and 59 Runners back to back, not bad for a midweek tourney!

July also saw another great guaranteed competition! The July 4th £2900 GUARANTEE saw a GUARANTEE SMASHING 185 Runners fight it out for a share of the spoils!

Next up we have the July 27th £5,000 GUARANTEE, £50 Total Buy In, 50k Chips and 30 Min Clock! Last time we ran this comp we hit 223 Runners! What will we hit this time???? Come find out!!!
